Understanding InDesign

This was one of those cases where I had the need and the urge to learn something new. It is the best feeling in the world learning something new and feeling that sense of accomplishment. I spent a few moments on YouTube just to get an idea of where I wanted to start and pretty quickly decided it would be a fun learning approach to create a kind of magazine article. It was only natural to create an article about fishing -if you follow me on any social media, or know me in person you already know it's currently my favorite pastime. That being the case, I had no problem writing on the subject, or running into a shortage of content.

I went about this like I do most things for inspiration -the internet. I found a few different article examples that I liked and tailored them to suite my needs. Pulled some inspiration from here and a little bit more from there and Voila, there you have it. I apologize for any grammar issues. In this case, I just wanted to see if I would create attractive image placement and typography. To be honest, I am pretty happy with how it turned out! Super cool stuff and I truly enjoyed the entire process. I think I'll be looking to create another in the near future on another topic, or maybe a brochure or something of sorts? -daughter permitting lol :)
