Bitter Canyon at the Solarium

The Solarium is what Wally calls the room in his home turned music studio. Such an inviting space, you can't help but feel the need to create.

Winter was setting in and I needed a completely new project to keep me sane... I came to Wally a few weeks ago with the idea to film a performance of the band he is in called Bitter Canyon. I had only been fairly acquainted with Wally, but I have always admired his songwriting and fingerpicking style.. I think that is what ultimately lead me to giving him a holler -that, and we have a few mutual friends.

It has been a delight, to say the least, getting to know Wally and other members of Bitter Canyon -Vee Ellsbury and Will Pett. Not pictured for the acoustic performance is also their drummer Vedran Surlan. All of them are talented musicians, multi-instrumentalists and wonderful singers/songwriters -did I forget to mention they are all just great people to be around?

I truly look forward to running into these guys a little more often. Being a part of the music can sometimes make Spring feel like it's not so far away :)
