Gifts for Mom and Dad

Very rarely do I get my work printed. This year, for Christmas, I thought I would make my folks something. I've clearly been on a poster making binge and it seamed like a fun thing to do -it was also a great excuse to actually see my work physically on paper.

My mom is a big fan of the Eagles and I think at one point I made something and she mentioned she would maybe like a poster... Sweet! I can do that :) She has a little corner in the basement with a bunch of shelved records next to the piano. I have yet to see how she incorporates the poster into her little music area, but knowing my mom's side hobby of interior decorating I'm sure it will look tasteful :)

If you ever visit Muhlbauer Repair in the tiny rural town of Halbur, Iowa you will find the chair in the poster below. I should probably get more of a back story on it, but I am pretty confident it was welded by either my grandpa or great grandpa. It's all about the details; the seat from a retired tractor and the other parts made from scrap metal -gotta love the foot rest on there! Cool stuff :)
