Hey Darlin' Where Have You Been? -Original Song

I was watching a Paul McCartney interview the other day and he talked about how he woke up with the melody for Yesterday in his head one morning. That is exactly where this song came from. My sleeping sub-conscience creates a tune every now and then -I just tried my best to salvage what I could recall.

I managed to piece together this song over the course of two mornings. I may have just set a personal record with this one for the fastest I ever wrote a song that I was almost immediately happy with. A lot of lyrics in the songs I write become "adequate place holders" to carry the melody -until that moment when the right words finally come.
