Marcus Savage

Every now and then I recall how much I looked up to "The Ames Dudes" -that was what I called the locals before I moved to Ames in 2009. I was fortunate enough to see them skate a few times when I travelled to Ames from Carroll to skate. It's funny what can happen over time -it feels good to call Marcus a friend. Before I moved to Ames I wished I could have been those dudes' friend. I wish I could have grown up skateboarding with those guys. They were so darn good! They still are....

Marcus Savage is one of "The Ames Dudes". Marcus' approach to skating is special. His skating is really hard to describe in words, you just got to see it. I won't go on and on about Marc I will just stop myself now and say again "Just go see it."
