Just like my previous post these are just random little tidbits of art and concepts that have yet to find a home other than just being an idea. Other than the last post though, these are all skateboarding related. More bits of information related to each image below. As always, just hope ya dig em' :)

Thought I would spend some time playing in photoshop. I had no idea what I was going to do when I started -I just started grabbing images I liked and started piecing them together. This is where it ended. FYI, Hill Bomb is a term for going down a giant hill on a skateboarding while making no effort to slow down. You just pray to the powers that be that you don't fall off your skateboard..

Saw this image in a magazine of Dakota Servold doing a giant kickflip up a loading dock. Just loved the image and decided to make an "ad" for Bro Style -a griptape company Dakota skates for.

Just some various mock-ups of a tee design I thought would make a cool screeprint. Too tight-fisted to make it a reality..

Concept I came up with for a Georgie deck. I found an image of the non-cropped photograph. Can't remember who shot the photo.. Sorry for no photo credits :(

Cute little illustration Georgie did. I don't remember much about the little sketch George did other then I remember him telling me about it and being so psyched on it :D On the kicktail it reads "FLC" -FLC stands for Flat Land Crew, Flat Land Crew is just a group of friends who like to skate. I think most people think of the "Ames Guys" when they think of Flat Land Crew, but I remember Georgie telling me that Flat Land Crew was for everyone, any one who wanted to be down with skateboarding and making the most fun out of it. Everyone is a part of Flat Land Crew :)

The original order put in for FLC Skateshop

Concepts I worked on with Marcus after the shop was moved to Main Street in Ames.

More ideas...

More ideas.. I hope to some day take the time to do a run of one of these. I know folks love the deck that is the shape of Iowa so I very much intend to do something with it at some point. I promise.
My friend, Adam Kindred has been experimenting with animation. This isn't even close to what he is doing I was just inspired by Adam and did this fun little thingy.. Isaiah doing a 360 flip fakie at the Georgie Tsushima Memorial Skatepark. Taken from video screen grabs then "color corrected". Audio from video just synced up with the sequence.

One of my Des Moines homies, Mirza Jasarovic, made a skateboarding film out of Des Moines. I'll post the promo video below as well as a link to the whole video on Transworld Skateboarding's website... I was just inspired to make a little promo image for him. Loved the video, it is more than skateboarding.
