Winter's Mostly Black -Original Song

I was driving to work one morning when this little annoying thought came into my mind "It's dark when I wake up in the morning and it's dark when I get off work at night." "Winter isn't white, it's black! It's always night time in the winter!" I thought this to myself in the car. ....I was bumming on the fact that I was never getting to see the sunshine because I was spending the entirety of the daylight hours at work. Well, there you have it, subject matter for a song -one of the first songs I ever wrote.

I've been pretty distant about making art lately and was feeling kind of bad about it. I think that is pretty typical of me, just in general and even more so when Spring and Summer come around. Album art has kind of been the only art I have been even remotely interested in making lately. I've learned not to force things. At some point the bottom finally falls out and I have to create something... anything! Well, that is where the artwork below came from. It came down to an absolute need to finally create something. On to the next??

...Sometimes, I think, the hardest part of creating is continuing to find inspiration. Gotta dig deep sometimes!
